Billing Policies
General Billing
By using SpeakerHUB products and services, you agree to follow SpeakerHUB’s billing policy. All customers must comply with this billing policy.
Special note regarding signed contracts:
If you have signed a contract, such as an annual contract, please review your contract for specific terms regarding your obligations. If the signed contract conflicts with this billing policy, the signed contract will prevail. However, the details in this agreement supersede all other billing agreements.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all accounts are prepaid, and payment must be received by SpeakerHUB before any products or services are provided or activated. Customers must keep a valid credit/debit card on file for recurring monthly subscription fees, service fees (done for you services), and any email overage fees.
Subscription billing is based on access to products and services, not usage. Some done for you and consulting services fees may be usage-based. Disabled applications will still incur monthly fees, even if the product is unavailable due to breaches, including delinquent accounts.
Customers are responsible for keeping their credit/debit card information and contact details up to date. This can be done online through the Customer Center. Log in to your SpeakerHUB account, click "My account," and then "Update your billing info."
All recurring subscriptions are automatically charged to the credit/debit card on file. Payment receipts are available upon request or through the Customer Center.
Billing Cycle
Credit/Debit Card Billing:
All credit/debit cards are automatically charged based on your specific billing cycle date.
Late Fee:
Past due accounts may incur a late fee.
Delinquent Payments:
If any payment is 15 days overdue, your account may be disabled until the balance is paid. When an account is disabled, access to your data will be suspended.
Deactivation:
If your account remains unpaid for 60 days, it may be canceled. Once canceled, you won’t be able to access any files until the account is up to date. Your data may be stored for up to 60 days after cancellation, but after that, it will be deleted. Delinquent accounts may also be sent to a third-party collection service.
Fees
Late Fee: SpeakerHUB may charge a $30.00 late fee for payments that are 15 days overdue.
Chargebacks: If a customer initiates a chargeback, SpeakerHUB may charge a $50.00 processing fee for each chargeback.
Returned Checks: SpeakerHUB may charge a $50.00 processing fee for each returned check.
Collections Fee: If an account is sent to a collection service, a 20% fee may be added to the account balance.
Interest: Unpaid charges may accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by law, whichever is lower.
SpeakerHUB Services
SpeakerLaunch Services and Other Services:
SpeakerLaunch Services and other services must be used within the timeframe specified at purchase. SpeakerLaunch Services must be used within 60 days after purchase or 30 days after you start using the service, whichever comes first. SpeakerLaunch Services and all other service fees are nonrefundable. If you cancel, no refunds or prorated amounts will be given, and you must pay SpeakerHUB in full.
Third-Party Products and Advertising Usage
Fees collected by SpeakerHUB for third-party products or services, such as advertising, are nonrefundable.
Payment Methods
SpeakerHUB accepts payments via credit/debit card, including American Express, MasterCard, Discover, and VISA.
Subscription Billing
Invoices are generated, and payments are collected at the start of each billing period. Most billing periods start on the day of the month when you purchased your SpeakerHUB subscription. You must request to cancel at least 10 days before your next billing date to avoid being charged. When you cancel, you will still have access until the end of your final billing period. SpeakerHUB does not prorate fees, and all subscription fees are nonrefundable.
Cancellation Process
Creating a Cancellation Request:
To cancel a SpeakerHUB subscription, you must request cancellation at least 10 days before the next billing date. This request must be made verbally with a SpeakerHUB representative. Email requests are not accepted. Keep records of your cancellation communications.
Simply canceling your credit/debit card will not cancel your account, and billing will continue, which may result in a past due account sent to collections. To cancel, you must speak with a SpeakerHUB representative or submit a ticket through the cancellation form.
Finalizing the Cancellation:
After your request, you must speak with the cancellation team to finalize it. The cancellation will take effect at the end of the billing period in which it was processed, based on the "Subscription Billing" rules.
Canceling an account does not eliminate any outstanding invoices or previously agreed charges, such as payments for SpeakerLaunch Services or annual contracts. You must settle all balances before cancellation. Unpaid balances may be sent to a collection service.
Billing Disputes
Customers agree to give SpeakerHUB 30 days to resolve any billing disputes before contacting a third-party credit/debit card company or bank. If you initiate a chargeback before SpeakerHUB has a chance to resolve the issue, SpeakerHUB may charge you for time spent resolving the dispute, plus the $50 chargeback fee. SpeakerHUB retains the right to collect all due fees, even after a chargeback. Disputed amounts may be sent to collections, and SpeakerHUB may suspend your account until the dispute is resolved.
Refunds
All subscription and service fees, including those for SpeakerLAUNCH Services, are nonrefundable and will not be prorated.
